something something something 2016
Family time has come to an abrupt end. Yesterday I started to feel very overwhelmed and today I had to take an anti-anxiety pill for the first time in months. I went for dinner and one game of cards earlier and then left to come home and be by myself and it's been delightful. Just been chilling, catching up on LJ, hanging with the dog, and watching tv. I made nutella roll things and have binged on some pickles and this is the best thing all week.
During my LJ catch up I noticed a lot of talk about LJ and Russian servers (like there haven't been Russian servers ALREADY handling some of our stuff?) and the discussion about Dreamwidth again. I have a DW, under the same name. Another one under another name but I don't remember what it was and it's moot now anyway. I have a DW, is the point. However, until LJ curls up and dies the painful death I'm sure is going to be along within the next handful of years, I'm not going anywhere.
If anything else this little blip has prompted me to backup my journal. I'm pretty zen about the whole thing, though. I'm here to the end.

Your favorite film this year: I... don't know. I liked Captain America: Civil War but I don't know if it was my favourite of the whole year. I really enjoyed Zootopia and Deadpool was great, too. I just went through a list of stuff that came out this year and those three are the only ones that really deserve a shoutout from me.
Your favorite book this year: I didn't read any books this year. I got halfway through one, though!
Your favorite album or song this year: Spotify helped me discover SO MANY new songs and artists this year that I don't think I can say just one. A lot more smaller artists with one or two songs out, or a bunch of covers fill my playlists right now.
Your favorite TV show this year: I discovered The Tunnel and Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries this year and fell in love with both!
Your favorite anime this year: I don't watch any.
Your favorite Tumblr this year: I can't distinguish one tumblr from another.
Your best new fandom discovery of the year: I'm not sure, maybe just that I'm still so into it?
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year: LJ not being as active as I'd like it, I guess? But that's just in general, LOL. Maybe that no one has signed Hoechlin into a show yet?
Your TV boyfriend of the year: Hmmm, Clane Crawford from Lethal Weapon
Your TV girlfriend of the year: Possibly Clemence Posey from The Tunnel? Or Tina/Louise/Linda from Bob's Burgers? Malia Tate from Teen Wolf? So many!
Your biggest squee moment of the year: I'm not sure! I'm just overall thankful more often than not that I'm still so engaged by Teen Wolf fandom.

Your biggest anticipation of the New Year: Generally? To just keep being inspired by my show and characters. Specifically? For Riverdale!
