So, I've been really out of the loop on just about EVERYTHING since I've been off work. I haven't been checking twitter at ALL and that's where I read up on current events and whatnot. That and the newspaper, of course, but I've only poked around our site a few times as it just makes me anxious.
I am often at least aware of things happening in other parts of the world, even if I don't understand them, or at least I like to think I am, from day to day. The whole Brexit thing, however, I didn't hear about until this past Sunday's episode of Last Week Tonight. I understand it's passed and the general gist of things (in the barest sense of the world). I know I have some Brits on my flist-- would any of you be able to fill me in on a personal level and what this will mean for you? I am taking from the few entries I've seen that most people were against the exit so I'm sorry.
I've started my anti-anxiety pills again. It's made even thinking about work more bearable. Can't wait to actually be there! *sarcastic thumbs up*
I'm sure it's going to suck but mom and I are going to go see Independence Day: Resurgence this weekend (I hope--I want to see it before the first week reviews start rolling in). It's one of the movies we both really liked watching when I was younger, that and True Lies, oddly enough. Jeff Goldblum's in it so that'll make it all okay. God, he's so attractive.
Yeah? Yeah.
