I'm loving iZombie this season! I know we're only 2 eps in but it's been a ball!
Kat Dennings was on Drunk History tonight and it was awesome. Thought Paget Brewster was, too, and got SO excited but it's just someone who looks like her. Sadface.
The Flash has been okay. I'm still entertained.

Our federal election is next Monday and it's going to be quite the shitshow. I could have gone to early polling this past weekend but I wasn't sure who I was going to vote for (anyone but Harper) and I figured this week there was going to be a lot more bullshit coming out. Early polling indicates a lead for the liberals and I'm okay with that, although I'm in a province where the word liberal is more offensive than the word "cunt". Provincially we're NDP currently and if we get the Libs in federally I won't be surprised to see declarations of mass exodus from this province, even though it'll never actually happen and people will just bitch and complain until they run out of words.
DELIGHTFUL.

Furnace guy tomorrow at 8am and then the plumber's coming at 1pm and hopefully he'll fix whatever's making the drain backup when the washer drains. As a rental we could have done worse for a place to live but as a house for someone to buy it's a dump. The property and location are awesome but basically the house needs to be stripped down to the pipes and redone because it's a) from the 50's so everything's shitty (literally?) pipes and plaster walls and b) any "new" renovations that have been done have been done VERY POORLY. There's a giant hole in the storage/furnace area where some kind of addition was made way back when and instead of, I don't know, putting up some insulation and boards or some shit, my landlord has a sheet covered by a room divider. :|
Never mind that the pipes we had to have looked at during one of our last adventures in basement flooding had silicone, duct tape and exercise clothes shoved in them (IDEK), or that the windows don't open enough for me to get out if there was a fire or that there's no underlay for the carpet down here, etc, etc.
And my landlord asked if we wanted to buy it when he got the house in the final settlement between him and his ex-wife. The land, sure. The house? Not even a little.
I don't know why I blathered on about that. Basically the house is getting a physical and I'm hoping the old bones make it through another winter, especially without a rent increase, LOL.
