Holy shit, you guys
The province I currently reside in has been basically a one-party province for the past 44 years. 44 years of the same government that, in the past, served them until it really, really didn't. There's been a few less than stellar leaders of that party in the past 10 years that have led the province astray and weren't providing solutions.
Tonight the province swung from a conservative government to socialist. MAJORITY government, even. AND the PC party didn't even drop to the official opposition position. A third party swooped in and grabbed that title in a BIG way.
I can't even begin to tell you how big this is. I saw someone on Twitter explain it to US people as if Texas elected a democrat. It's that.
My glee, you guys.
I've been saying for the past few days that I just want to watch the province burn at this point because it's so far gone. And now it's burning motherfucking NDP orange.
