These are totally truthy questions and should really be answered to everyone's satisfaction asap. But they won't be.

I was pretty on board with Derek being all bloody and ripped t-shirt-y. Clearly it is fairly obvious why I watch the show...

I'm okay with inconsistencies but when they make me think THIS MUCH I'm torn between WTF and humour.

So that Miss Blake can get with Derek after he saves her, duh. lol, but seriously, idk what they were thinking! That was totally unbelievable. Maybe they didn't have money for a new set so that they couldn't run into her elsewhere, so they made up this whole thing where she pulls all-nighters grading papers at school instead of at home and hoped that everyone would go for it.

You'd think it would be just as easy for her to come in early or something. I don't know. Like, I know trying to come up with logic in these situations is impossible but COME ON.

Or that she came back because she forgot her phone or something. But wait, she still would've had to make her way to the boiler room! XD

Yeah, that was weird, definitely. I was willing to buy it, though, albeit with some eye rolling. I never stayed at school until six in the morning when I taught, but there were a few times I stayed there until 1 AM or so. And I've definitely stayed up until the wee hours grading papers (though usually at home), especially when I was new and stupid, and thought it was a great idea to have the kids turn them in right before my grades were due.

The other possibility is that she got there very early -- actually, now that I think about it, that's more likely, given that she was in the boiler room getting paper. The guy who taught next door to me used to routinely show up before 6 am. In September/October, sunrise is probably around 6:30-7:00. If she showed up at 5:30 or 6, it would be unusual, but not completely outside the realm of possibility.

Duuuude, I think the teacher is SO sketchy. And it doesn't have ANYTHING to do with Derek.

Just remember, she showed up when all the magic-y stuff started happening.. and how/WHY did she get all the students' cell numbers, and where was it her place to reprimand Scott when his MOTHER pulled him from school?

It doesn't jive, yo.

This.

And I could be wrong, but isn't it like the start of the school year? Have the students already done so much work that Ms. Blake (is that even her real name? lol) needs to pull an all-nighter to grade papers or whatever it was she was doing?

I want Derek to be happy. But SKETCHY doesn't begin to describe this woman. My fear is that Derek will become attached and then it'll end up being like Kate all over. My heart would never be able to take that. Surely, Jeff wouldn't do that to us, right? (This Might Hurt - fuck you, Davis!)

I worry about that too, the Derek part.. but she was working at my spidey-senses before Derek ever saw her, you know?

I mean, Derek is resilient and he keeps going and stuff, but I can't imagine that there's too much more he can just brush off and keep going with.

OH, didn't Jeff Davis say that alphas can mask their sent. Oh, my God. (we already knew with Peter, but it's been flat out said now)

Please no, PLEASE. NO.

Oh, jeez. I need another paper bag. I keep working myself up with random theories.

I think I have okay thoughts about her. I think. With there being all those other new people with suspect or creepy backgrounds it seems like she might be there to balance out the normal/weird scale.

I don't think she'll survive the season, though. If anything I think she's totally there to drive Derek closer to the edge of... whatever ultimate hell is for Derek? He obviously welcomes death at this point so I think short of Derek having an Angel pulled on him and losing his soul following a single moment of total happiness she could be the worst!best thing to happen to him in a LONG ASS time.

she is dedicated to her job? lol
plus they have not been back at school that long, and on a teachers salary no way would you spend all night at school

She's INCREDIBLY dedicated to her job. Especially since she's brand new and wants to make a good impression.

You know, in a town where weird shit happens a lot and people mysteriously go missing or die or whatever. Dont' want to start off on the wrong foot!

Hopefully she keeps that foot and no one chops it off or eats it or anything.
