Caps: Arrow 106 "Legacies" (1188), 1280x720 & other stuff
I don't know what it is about there being snow on the ground that turns people into raging shit-wizards with licenses but jesus christ can someone please learn to drive? I was about 20 minutes late for my doctor's appointment this morning because a) people can't fucking park and b) people can't fucking back up. I ended up throwing some barriers to the side that were set up to block off a row of parking in the hospital parkade because there was NO WHERE ELSE TO FUCKING PARK. I even left a note on my windshield in case the parking monitors came by. No ticket, though! And when I came back out there were three other vehicles parked beside me. So there, stupid hospital parking!
I also didn't have to PAY for parking because in my frenzy to FIND parking I dropped my parking ticket in the car so I was planning on paying the fee with my credit card to get out of the parkade but I stopped carrying it with me once I paid it off and lowered the limit so when I got to the booth I had to press the help button, get connected with some lady somewhere in the province who asked where I was, I replied, she asked me what the issue was and I, in a tone that sounded like I was panicked and near tears, blurted out, "I forgot my ticket and couldn't pay and I don't have my credit card and I just want to go back to woooooooork!" Next thing I know the lever is lifting and I laughed all the way back to the highway.
The reason why I was at the hospital was to see the head of the bariatric program I'm in and he is going to give me the official referral to the brand new surgeon in town who will be doing bariatric surgery for the program. I'm the first from the program to be referred! So that's exciting. I don't know when it's going to happen or anything and it probably won't be until the new year, which is okay. I'll have to see the surgeon and see what he says and then finalize things and go on a stricter diet and whatnot.
I've decided to make my last big purchase from my settlement money. I went into Staples tonight and committed to buying the last iMac they have in stock, which is the demo from the last version, but I decided I'm too impatient to wait for even the official launch date of the new one, plus this one is about $300 less than the new one will be so I'll go with that and, whatever, it won't be as slim or nearly as fast as the new one coming out. I would have paid for it tonight but I have a limit on how much I can charge to my debit so I couldn't. :( But I'll go to the bank tomorrow at lunch and then run over to pay for it so they can start restoring it to factory. I also ordered a new external since it only has a 500GB hard drive and this one is TWO TERABYTES for only $123, I think, which was CUH-RAZEE! I also went through airmiles shops so I got airmiles on it! SQUEE!
Now I need to track down programs for Mac that I can transition to or that can be used in conjunction with the ones I have on my laptop. I'm not giving that up but I want something a little more reliable, I guess, because I've already had to restore this laptop to factory once because it was doing a weird profile thing and I only just got it in January. I'm pretty fucking hard on my stuff, I guess. I can find CS 5 or 6 for myself but does anyone have any recs for other Mac programs that might be good to dl? Or suggestions?

So there's got to be at least one episode this season where Stephen Amell is shirtless for the WHOLE EPISODE, right? Make it like the paintball eps on Community or a musical ep or something. It's just THERE.
I also wouldn't say no to seeing Diggle shirtless more often, or even just in that tank.
I liked Thea in this episode and kind of wish there was something that could happen between her and her brother's friend (James?). Perhaps a slow burn for a couple seasons?
Katie looked SO GOOD in this episode. I think they've finally gotten her hair right and she looked really good in the face, too.
Laurel's dad was conspicuously absent from this episode, which I'm okay with because the guy who plays her creeps me out a bit. I think it's his weird lips/mouth. I dunno.
