Is that normal?!?!
Ok, so i have these relatives. For those of you who don't know, my mom doesn't drive, and actually has no desire to do so since she lives in bklyn, works there (in a CUNY) and uses public transportation... My aunt and uncle (my father's relatives) moved to fairlawn not too long ago. So, anyhow... Today is the Fairlawn's family's b-day thingie-thing for a grandfather that's turning 80. My mom's obviously invited. The only problem is, that she's somehow gotta get to fairlawn. Not to worry! we have more relatives in bklyn, who are giong to the same party, so they'll give her a ride!
Now, drumroll, please.......................
Ok, for those of you who know bklyn. My mom lives on X and 27th... these relatives live on M and Ocean Pkwy. those not very nice people told her "yeah, we'll drive you, but you have to get to our house by yourself" i.e. WALKING FROM X AND 27TH TO M AND 5TH!!!!!!! and you know why?!?! cause THEY DON'T WANNA DRIVE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION OF WHERE THEY NEED TO GO?!?!
NOW, please tell me if that's normal behaviour?! is that normal to make a woman walk for about 2 miles which would take her about an hour with a relatively heavy bag (present) instead of DRIVING for 10 minutes to pick her up!!?!??! NOT EVEN 10 MINUTES!!!!!! eto sovkovost'???? evreyest'???? mestechkovost'?! WHAT!?!? or is it a normal and acceptable thing to do??? i'm confused. Can you imagine someone telling you something like that?!?!?!
