(no subject)
You know what the best thing about writing a 9 page paper is? Printing it out and looking at all the lovely pages. I love how it makes a nice stack in my hands. It really feels like I accomplished something, perhaps despite the odds. The odds that were against me as of late being the damn beautiful sunshine. If nothing else Norway definitely knows how to do spring. Everything is in bloom :) I've got my rose colored glasses on if you couldn't already tell.
On Thursday I am documenting a Norwegians vs. Internationals battle. Well ok, a paintball extravaganza perhaps. It should be pretty fun, a few of my friends are getting in on the action and someone has to take pictures of all the fun things we do here in Norway and I guess that someone has to be me. I think I'm ok with that.
I read the email about the Zeta Formal and I really started missing all the girls. Everyone is going to get dolled up and having a wonderful special night. It makes me think back to informal last fall...boy was i out of control...I tried to remember if I had a date and then I remembered that I drug carly around..poor girl had to deal with a drunk and slightly belligerent me. Well thank you to all the girls who rallied around me. I wish I could do that for you at Formal, maybe next year :)
As for my life in Norway. My last class is this Friday. I have over a month of pretty much nothing to do. I am so happy about it. The days are getting really long already. The sun comes up around 5ish , maybe 5:30 and it goes down sometime around 9PM. Norway is the land of the midnight sun if you didn't already know. If you have ever been to alaska in the summer you would know what i am talking about. It will be light out at like 4 in the morning and won't get dark until 11 or 12 in June. It will be crazy. I really love it here though. Ok well this girl needs some sleep now, no more computers for a few days. I have had my fill of typing. :) Good night!
