I am going to be a professional social worker
Hello all.
Yesterday, I made one of the most important decisions in my life. I decided where I will be going to grad school to get my master's of social work (MSW).
I picked LSU.
There are a lot of reasons why I've decided to stay here (many of which are uber private), but the most important is that I feel that this is the right place for me.
Many of you may be thinking, "Oh heavens, no! Didn't she say that she would rather work at Sears than stay at LSU for her MSW?" Hmmm...I might not have said Sears, but yes you're probably right.
I'm sure at one point or another you all heard me say, "If I stay at LSU, I'll be limiting myself." After agonizing for many nights/days/weekends, etc. I have come to a peace about my decision.
If I am limited by staying at LSU, I'll only be limited by a [my] defeat-est attitude.
So for now, I'm unlimited. Just watch how I defy gravity.
