AN: and today I remembered that there had been a song called... tadaaa: Soulmate that I really liked sooo if you feel like it listen to it♥
Jonghyun had been weird the rest of the day.
Being unusually quiet and jumpy, not even paying attention to Taemin as he was changing RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM. A normal Jonghyun wouldn't hesitate a moment, grab Taemin and throw him on the bed only to fuck him senseless into it.
But at the moment Jonghyun was not in his right mind because he knew who Lee Jinki was and he knew his boyfriend and he knew that the upcoming day would be so extremely awkward, so extremely dangerous, because -fuck!- he honestly didn't want to lose Taemin.
He already felt bad enough for loving two people, for cheating on his beloved boyfriend but he just couldn't help it he loved Kibum and he loved Taemin and he was torn apart and he was so scared, so fucking scared of what was about to happen that it drove him crazy.
The night didn't make things better. Jonghyun not being able to sleep and Taemin being obviously and understandably pissed.
So next day when they sat in their big and luxurious living room, Jonghyun not being tired enough not to notice the glares Jinki and Taemin were giving him or the subtle glances Kibum was shooting at him but tired enough to just shut his brain off and not think about it, what had strangely a rather positive effect.
Even if Jonghyun was half absent he didn't fail to notice the suffocating tension in the room, silence that was numbing, nervous fumbling and uncomfortable coughs.
Even if his brain had shut off -mostly- he still couldn't avoid being bothered by the death-glares Jinki was giving him and -Shit! He knew- and Jonghyun should have expected that Jinki knew because Kibum always said they had an....open relationship but still it was surprising.
So everyone was in a mess of angriness-awkwardness-disappointment-sadness-confusion-nervousness and everything else that was evident on their faces or in their actions, everyone except for Kibum.
Kibum was calmly sipping his coffee, completely ignoring god and the world, being in a surprisingly good mood.
When the doorbell rang through the house, loud and unexpected everyone jumped, suddenly not used to loudness.
“I-I'm gonna open the door.”
So Taemin left Jonghyun, Kibum and Jinki in the living room leaving it up to them if they wanted to start a war in there. Taemin just had to get out of this room, using this few moments to gather himself.
Why the hell- why the fucking hell had Kibum to be the boyfriend of his cousin, his boyfriends lover and his high school love?
Taemin opened the door, welcoming Minho with a warm smile as he guided him to the living room.
“Kibum?”
And why the fucking hell did Minho know Kibum?
Not only Taemin but also Jonghyun and Jinki asked themselves that as Minho and Kibum hugged each other warmly, for the others a little bit too comfortable with the other.
“Y-You guys know each other?”
“Of course we know each other Jonghyun. We modelled together once and immediately became friends after that.”
“So friends means-”
“Yeah we had a little something once...-” Jonghyun felt like throwing up at the faces they made. “So, Minho let me introduce you: Jinki, my boyfriend, Jonghyun my lover and Taemin my High school lover/boyfriend. Isn't it funny? I slept with each person here in this room.”
He wasn't even embarrassed to say this, not even noticing how everyone's jaw dropped, how their faces turned red and he just clapped his hands together, smiling brightly as he acted like it had just been the most normal thing in the world to say.
