Monday was really, really wet here in NYC.

I grew up in the Willamette Valley (that's Will-LAMB-ette, btw) with rain from October through June. When we get rain here in NYC, I find that I've grown pasty and soft when it comes to being mentally equipped to handle it. And physically too, I suppose! For instance, I now require an umbrella. Nobody uses umbrellas in the pacific northwest. I maintain that East Coast rain is harder, colder, and meaner than West Coast rain--but still! An umbrella? For shame.

This page was part of my MoCCA Artfest 2010 minicomic, "It never rains but it pours", which came with a Gocco print of my spring promo attached to the cover.
