October photos, illo progress
Lovely sunset on the walk home yesterday. I almost missed it, but a barking dog caused me to turn around. Needing to get around on foot in NYC allows one to go on autopilot very easily, your feet memorize certain sidewalk pitfalls and that leaves time for your mind to space out and your fingers to text. As my mom would say, "Get your head up and pay attention!"
Latest progress on an illustration project: made some notes on it in class, much to the chagrin of my teacher. ("You're writing on it?!") But, if I don't, I won't remember what I need to do next 4 hours later. I slapped on some quick ink to get an idea of what the blacks should be, and what to do with the background. I'm ready to get the final done on proper paper and put this in a drawer somewhere. ;)
