Symphony sounds lovely! Take tissues.

I keep forgetting to blog this but I'm looking forward to the upcoming movie about Tolkien and CS Lewis's friendship. Hope they do a good job of it.

Yep, it's called Tolkien & Lewis - pic on IMDB shows a very cool cover of a Nazgul and Aslan the lion. Apparently it's about a year in their lives and details the friendship/rivalry between them. Slated for 2015. Will be very interesting to see how their relationship is depicted!

Oh, you've got me eager for this movie. I am so sick of things exploding I can't tell you. I expect the most violence I'll see between Oxford dons is a vicious slash of a blue pencil. Maybe a furrowed brow. Thank goodness!

LOL! Yes, so much looking forward to this.

Newbie on board! Think of all the standard things, put me in a cab, and off I'll go. :)

I'm sooo envious of people doing this in April! April is one of those no-go months for taking time off work, but I hope people are able to meet up and have a fabulous time!

April is a HIDEOUS time for so many people. Boo, because we really hoped more of the gang could meet up. I'll bring you a report and sniffle count. Cheers!

Wow, Mariole. I read about that trilogy event, jan-u-wine having sent me a link. It sounds PHENOMENAL.

I'm not sure what to expect-- will they play the movie over our heads? Will they just show silent clips while the orchestra plays? (That was my former LOTR symphony experience.) Time will tell! (And also me; I shall share my experiences.)

Any chance you can come?
