I was up late, too-- had to read reviews, and squee, then watch it again. But today is a holiday for me, so I'm wallowing in the fandom and greatly enjoying myself
( ... )
> I also love 'no way out' because then we see how heroic someone can be
So true. Those final moments on the rooftop, when Sherlock knew he was well and truly trapped and would have to jump, had my stomach in a knot. But you know why he had to do it-- BECAUSE HE'S LEARNED TO LOVE!!! The best stories are always bittersweet.
> Bastard.
Yes, I think it's safe to sum Moriarty up that way. :D
John's faith in Sherlock is inspiring. He gave the gift only a good friend can give. One of Gilli's links sums it up so well: "Just imagine spending your whole life alone and misunderstood, hated and envied by everyone around you, and then someone turns up who shows this kind of admiration and respect for you."

> I wonder what John's reaction will be when Sherlock turns out to be not-dead ...!
I'm so looking forward to that! My head is imagining all sorts of scenarios-- what fun!
> Sherlock finally learned to care. Waaaaah.
