I do love Spock, too. How could anyone not be attracted to this strong, gentle Vulcanman once they saw him in action?

BTW: Nyota speaks Vulcan? Guess I missed something, somewhere.

As for her speaking Vulcan-- I guess I've been reading too many stories. I just always assumed that was one of the languages she'd brought to the Academy with her. Hmm. I'll have to think about that more.

well she is a xenolinguist and we all know that she is fluent in romulan all 3 dialects, so i dont think its very far fetched if she can speak Vulcan.

Looks like Nyota is starting to realize that there's more to Spock than just his tight grey uniform, hahaha i was hoping she'll find something that Spock dropped during the fight and will come visit Spock in the infirmary to return it, but i guess that's too cliche

Thanks for that, Riiya. I hoped I wasn't making it up. Still, she could have learned all this at the Academy, under Spock's tutelage-- and she isn't Spock's student yet in my story. My idea is that Vulcan/Romulan was an interest of hers and she came in with some of that background. But then, why is she so uninterested in Spock to begin with? Quite a pickle I've got myself into! (That's crack fic for you!)

I was thinking the same thing. From what I've heard (but I'm no expert, that's fo sho) Romulan is similar to Vulcan, so for someone as intelligent as her....Vulcan wouldn't be that far fetched.
