Pieces starting to fall together
It has been a good week so far with some pieces of my life really starting to come together.
* Me moving out of my basement will happen for sure next month. ^_^ Can't say exactly where as we're still looking, but at least I will be able to move in on day one. After over three years stuck in this basement, I can finally move out. So very happy with that, it had made my week already.
* In my school, if the full amount of tuition isn't covered by federal loans and you are unable to pay the difference, the school issues temporary credit to cover it. What this does is covers that difference but it has to be paid to the school right after finishing. I had been unable to get a loan previously to cover this, and have been trying to do what I can to improve my credit to eventually get one, as well as save up money in case I couldn't (this part failing due to lack of hours these past few months). Today I was told to see my financial aid adviser before I could get my books and didn't know what to expect. He told me that the school started a partnership with a credit union and that we were going to see if we could get my temp credit covered in a loan. We logged in the thing and submitted a credit check, and the hugest sigh of relief came on my face when the screen showed that I was approved. This alone took out stress for the next year as well as relieved stress from the past year having that on my mind. I am so happy having all of my tuition on loans now.
All that's left is the job scenario. The one I want essentially is a matter of time. I'm hoping I get the call for an interview this week so I can prove myself and start within a couple weeks. I do have backups in mind, but this is the number one choice which will be the best for me as well.
Granted, things are still going to be kinda rough until I do have that good job, but there is a light I will get to at the end of that tunnel. Everything else has been piecing together very well. I am so relieved and happy right now. ^__^
