News? What's that?
Well, things are going along pretty much the same as one would expect. One project at a time. I planned on a few things to do this past weekend, moondaizee wondered if that was all I was planning, and well - I didn't even quite get to everything on that list.
However, there is a master list to pull from now (big bonus for me if you know how I am). It also makes it easier to put together the next trip to *insert home improvement store here*. It's a rather daunting list, but it's made with the realization that not everything is going to get done in the near future - especially as things are added / come up. But it's a goal / guideline in which to intersperse other events.
Other things, like the issues with the router box, take up time too - but are mostly under control.
However, yesterday I finished mounting the speakers in the living room (tonight I plan on tacking up the wires before visiting daddy_dude and mama_ren, which will finish that project). Which reminds me - running speaker wire in the game room missed the list (see how this ends up working?). Plenty to get done, but some of it isn't particularly critical to be done in the immediate future (like railing on the rest of the deck and possibly the roof on the back porch).
No, working on the house hasn't eaten all of my time (I've managed to ensure some free time too) - but other stuff is likely more mundane. Plus this might remind me that I promised bladededge some pics - I'm horrible with remembering to take / post such things...
