I just finished writing this:
Ban him from your heart
Those eyes that burn with a fire so strong
And that mischievous smile can only belong
To the person who, for you, is completely wrong
Just like it says in the chorus of my song.
Ban him from your heart.
You are caught up in deadly infatuation,
Fooled by his well-practised master manipulation;
You have to let go of that foolish sensation
That will only lead you to preventable deception.
Ban him from your heart.
You think he's "The One", your forever lover.
You think he's your knight in shining armour.
He has got you trapped, he is a charmer...
But what will happen when you uncover his true nature?
Ban him from your heart.
You've almost reached the point where you're in admiration
For someone who isn't worth your love, much less adoration.
You mustn't succomb to that surreal temptation
That is him, the object of your fascination.
Ban him from your heart.
He has got lying down to an art
And he will only break your heart.
So you should be smart
And not let him in right from the start.
So ban him from your heart...
