Его изображали в людском облике с одним или двумя хвостами, часто- с лошадиными передними ногами, но иногда у него вместо копыт- когти или пальцы с перепонками.

These carefully finsihed figures, cast in relief with open backs, were probably made to adorn an architectural element such as a casket, the base of a coat of arms or an interior fountain.
Polychrome and gilt wooden figural of a winged Triton holding a branch aloft, circa 18th century .

Photographed in Udaipur, at the Saheliyon-ki-Bari (Gardens of the Maids). A place where the Maharani (Queen) would have hung out with her sahelis (friends).
