Фортуна.Часть 2.Колесо Фортуны.


Упоминания о "Колесе Фортуны" (судьбы, удачи) встречаются с античных времен, Фортуна изображалась с ним наряду со сферой или шаром.



Эта аллегория получила распространение в средневековье и более поздних периодах.
Изображения колеса фортуны можно встретить в манускриптах, в гравюре и гобеленах.

Фортуна или стоит на колесе, или оно рядом, либо она крутит колесо.
Само же колесо Фортуны, как правило- поднимает падших и унижает возгордившихся.

С особенным удовольствием средневековые картинки и гравюры изображали и высмеивали коронованных особ, епископов, карабкающихся по колесу Фортуны, или восседающих на вершине и падающих вниз - с другой стороны.

Подобные изображения сопровождали надписями: «Regnabo - Regno - Regnavi - Sum sine Regno" (лат.) - "Я буду царствовать - Я царствую - Я царствовала - Я без царства".

Также много сатирических картинок, по поводу недальновидной политики и политиков, проигранных войн.
