Quick Stargate: Universe note
I am saving my good shows for the return of the power supply cord. But, in my desperate need to avoid a very, very loud Alabama/Florida game yesterday, I did watch Stargate:Universe on my little netbook. And I have some spoilery questions:
1. Is anyone else concerned that the Killer Chair (the one on the ship, not the sad little ugly chair back on earth that ate up valuable screen time in the previous episode, proving that it was a Chair of Lesser Evil) is going to go after the all of the hair products and hair conditioners on the ship? If so, a) what will Chloe do, and b) will the alien ship have replacements?
2. Is anyone else concerned that on a ship of 80 or so people everybody's idea of due process and criminal procedure is from Law and Order, and that equally apparently, nobody but nobody has read an Agatha Christie novel? I find the second part particularly distressing.
3. Is anyone else delighted that in a world of Killer Chairs, lousy and inadequate food, inexplicably matching gym clothes, mad scientists, self-confessed inadequate medics, and distressingly lousy leadership, people still have time to chat about their shoe issues?
