(no subject)
hey guys!
i haven't written anything in over a year. that is INSANE. i used to enjoy writing my livejournal, then i realised i pretty much moaned about stuff, and looking back over numerous moaning entries when i logged in was bumming me out. it was NOT COOL. also, i never did anything interesting ever so my style was all I LOVE PHILOSOPHY BUT I STILL HAVEN'T DONE ANY WORK and OOF I GOT REALLY FUCKED UP LAST NIGHT and THIS IS WHY THIS PERSON ANNOYS ME and I AM BORED. so i stopped writing because who wants to read that? i would definitely not want to read that. plus, i had a hella shitty year last year. it is all over now and definitely about a million times better, which is awesome, but cool stuff was just not happening in 2007.
so this time i am not going to go into anything like that. i am going to write about stuff i have done that might be remotely interesting to someone somewhere, and that makes me feel good when i have written it down. and hey, it is quite possible that i will have stuff like that to say this year.
firstly, i repeated my final year at uni so i will graduate in like THREE DAYS. that is awesome. i have had fiiiiiiive exams so far and i only have two left! woooooo! i have really enjoyed sitting my finals. it is interesting and feels so good to be writing down stuff that i do not think is rubbish. i am sat all high in my philosophy tower, shooting my philosophy guns.
secondly, i got an internship in india that will last two months, july and august. so i will probably be in mumbai for six weeks, and i do not know exactly what i will be doing yet, but it will be with an NGO that specialises either in sex trafficking, queer rights, or gender in general. so i am really, really happy about that.
