surprises of Israel (part. 2)

Haifa, day 4
the way to my hosts' place took me almost as much as the way all up from Caesaria to Haifa. mostly due to the curves and angles as the route went around and up the hill. so I got at Eduardo's (a 62-year-old Argentinian who moved to Israel 16 years ago) nearly at 6pm. had some quick tea and rushed out to see the closest and easiest to reach sightseeng - German colony. but instead of that I saw a gorgeus arab racing horse named Taj with his owner (don't remember his name unfortunately, or even didn't ask it, but could see that he is quite wealthy and has manners) and jockey, and had a rich international couchsurfing dinner with Maxim from Riga, who's travelling around the country the same dates I am, and a very nice couple Vanya (Dnepropetrovsk) and Alena (Batumi) who've been living here for wuite a while, with their cute daughter Li-el. I won't be able to list all the dishes of Lebanese cuisine we tried - it was an abundance! but I have them on the picture and even went there today to take a shot of the menu page not to forget what I ate) the drinks I didn't take picture of, but tamarind drink was really cool, and not super-sweet as I was afraid it could be.
guys gave me a ride home, and by midnight I was in bed not beeing able to finish my post )
