Need eye rest
I've been reading WatanukixDoumeki fic like a crazy since last week (my twitter friends would know lol). Am slightly light headed now, I will need an early rest today if I'm going to be ready for next week's hard days...
A friend gave me "Fox Volant Snow Mountain" series and I had immediately checked out the battle scenes. It turned out to be nearly acceptable, I was quite wary with the amount of CG it used but apparently they still have acrobatic movements. Noticed a few repeated scenes in the 5 minutes I checked out but compared to Gundam Seed where it has more than 5x using the damn same Gundam shooting scene for the whole series, this is still tolerable (*ugh* I'm still avoiding Gundam years after I finished Seed and Seed Destiny -.-). I'm keeping the series but not sure will watch in near future. Still got Condor Heroes and Return of Iljimae. Not to mention I would spend my time reading WataxDou fic in weekend(I recommend flakedice's work if any of you interested - she's pure awesome). I just carved her name into my short favourite-fanfic-author list (along with velf79, pipu_com, and a few others). *frown* I just noticed velf79 deleted her journal... Oh well, she still has twitter and forum :p
I also need to update my own fic before end of year. To finish this arc is part of my new year resolution after all. I'm confident to say that I won't be able to fulfill this year's reading quota *grimace* Ever since I moved to SG, I can only lay my hand on so much resources without wasting money to buy them >_< With the pace I'm moving right now, perhaps I would only reach 24 or 25 books by the end of the year *frown* That's half of last year's achievement *pout* I hate it when I read less but can't help it this time. Work is busier than last year. =/
I've been keeping up with Yakumo and Zakuro. Yakumo's staff really need to work more into the character depth. I'm glad with the romance slow progress but the all the characters are just shallow =/ Zakuro... *sigh* I just can't comment. This is not exactly my taste of anime but... at least it's still tolerable compared to Fairy Doctor and not as boring as The World God Only Knows... I'm still postponing Shiki. After reading the raw, I wanted to wait until the series reach the point where *spoiler alert* Natsu turned into vampire and started to plan the counterattack.
All in all, this was a relaxing week with the long weekend. Not exactly looking forward for the next week - the annoying girl is back *long sigh*.
Update: I just watched Sweet Rain - Shinigami no Seido, starred by Takeshi Kaneshiro one of the most charismatic, handsome, and sexy (sorry, sudden fangirling wave ^^;;). It's beautiful. I didn't expect the 3 story arcs to be related. It left you a sweet and melancholic feeling after watching it. Highly recommended :D
