Shiva
Shiva is here and she is stressed out. She spent five days in a kennel (she's never been caged or in a kennel in her life), then 10 hours in the car with a complete stranger, and now, most of the night at our place. The potential adoptive couple who sounded too good to be true has dropped off the face of the earth and I'm concerned. The second choice is still available, but seeing her level of stress worries me about how well she will adjust/behave over the next few days if I drop her off at yet another new place. But she can't stay here. It's already a mess for everyone involved.
If I don't hear from the couple by this afternoon, I'm taking her to the second choice place and will have to sit down and explain her erratic behavior. She is acting like a puppy gone mad, which is not her style at all. Overly excited and difficult to handle due to her size and strength.
