I've been putting off grocery shopping this morning, sticking instead to homework, which sounds like the right thing to do, except... when I finally put down my laptop and got up with the intention to take a break and hit the store, I noticed piles of snow coming down outside and major wind gusts. I guess we're having soup and crackers tonight. I could have gone yesterday, but I stayed in, nose to the keyboard, trying to finish the last of my assignments for this term, and figured I'd go today instead. All this is supposed to turn to rain by morning, then snow by afternoon, followed by more snow through Saturday night.
Corcodel missed his chance too. I tried to get him to go out earlier, but, as usual, if it's too cold outside he takes a few steps out then runs back in. There's no way he'll go out now. The gusts of wind will likely blow him over the fence and out of the city. Poor little guy. He's not a big fan of winter. :o)
I think I saw some broccoli in the fridge and some red lentils in the pantry. Surely I can do something with that. I have curry, turmeric, and cumin on hand, so, it'll have to be something Indian with rice, maybe. I also have some dill.
I really should have gone to the store earlier.
