I'm having a really hard time finding vacancies at bed and breakfasts in Canada. We're going there on vacation for a week and a half and will spend our time in three different cities. So far, with the exception of one B&B all the ones I've contacted have no vacancies for the days we will be there. I hate hotels/motels. I'll take a B&B over a first class hotel anytime.
Even the B&B in Montreal where we stay all the time is booked solid.
