Like, okay, I did noticeway back on my first Avengers viewing that when Tony first shows up on the Helicarrier, talking a mile a minute and getting into everybody’s face and being super-obnoxious, that he’s actually creating a distraction so that he can plant a bug in SHIELD’s computers.
What I didn’t notice until I just rewatched for about the ten millionth time is that when Tony shows up at Stark Tower to find Loki there, and he offers him a drink and then goes to get one for himself while going on and on about how the Avengers are going to kick Loki’s ass - he’s also creating a distraction, and also keeping his hands out of Loki’s sight behind the bar so that he can put his armor-summoning bracelet on.
Yet more confirmation for my long-standing conviction that “Tony Stark has no social skills/doesn’t know how to interact with people” is totally not true. Tony Stark knows exactly what he’s doing when he acts like that, and he uses it to his advantage.
