Whew! Well, that's over and done with.

Practicing for three hours in front of the cat last night apparently did the trick, because I actually delivered my conference talk this afternoon without stammering. So I managed to finish on time and not embarrass myself too badly, even if my last two slides did basically boil down to "And then I pulled this number out of my ass, please don't ask me where my error bars are." Anyhow, people looked interested and asked questions, which is of the good.

Now I shall go and eat my free dinner and shmooze with the other attendees.
