So apparently I had a sudden surge of intelligence last Thursday, because I actually got an A on my GFD midterm. Go me!
Unfortunately, it was a temporary surge, because I couldn't understand a word the professor said in class today. Seriously, most of the time I can follow the material for at least two-thirds of the lecture before zoning out in a brain-dead haze for the final third, but today I had nothing. The professor was talking, and I assume it was English, because it was always English before, but you couldn't prove it by me today. There were chalk marks on the board that I assume were equations, because there were always equations before, but today they might as well have been Egyptian hieroglyphics. Hey
researchgrrrl, maybe you could come over and translate my notes for me?
Sigh. I hope the brain grows back by Thursday, or I'll never get the problem set done.
