(no subject)
So the good news is, I've been assigned a new office. It's in the same building as my advisor's office (though not on the same floor). No more trudging across the OAR parking lot every time I want to speak to the Great Guru, which is good. Also, the ocean view is much nicer than the parking lot view I have now.
The bad news is, I can't move into the new office yet, because there's no desk in it. A desk has been ordered, and will hopefully arrive soon, but I don't know exactly when.
And I have accomplished absolutely no studying today, even though I came into the office today with nothing but virtuous intentions. But every time I look at these Data Analysis notes, my eyes cross and my brain goes to mush. Which is very annoying, because I actually did rather well in that class back in the winter quarter. Sigh. I think the more I study for this exam, the stupider I get.
