Might as well state for the record
I'm staying as spoiler-free as humanly possible for HBP until the 16th. After that, I'll post all spoilery discussion under a cut-tag for at least a month.
I've got the book reserved at my local bookstore, and will probably do what I did with OotP: pick it up at midnight, take it home, go to bed, wake up early in the morning and read all day. And then on the 17th, I'm going to NY for a week where, on one hand, I'll have sporadic internet access and on the other hand, I'll be able to discuss the book in person with various like-minded obsessive geeks. *waves at yahtzee63*
