Wasting time again... :)
I have to write three papers this weekend. A draft of a 15-page paper for my research class, a reading response for my class on Messiaen and a proposal for a paper on the Fauré Requiem, for "Religious Impulse in Music of the 19th Century." Should be a fun weekend I'm sure. I'm also starting work again tonight at six. Also signing a lease for
new apartment for next year tomorrow afternoon sometime. Between the security deposit on this place and rent for next month, I have about $20 left to my name. Not good. I really hate being broke. New apartment is super nice though, and huuuuuuge! Two thousand square feet, three and a half bathrooms, washer, dryer and dishwasher for the three of us. Also, a deck for grilling. Woohoo!
Matthew came to visit last weekend. Apparently, we've gone shopping every time he's been here, so his comment was 'can we not go shopping next time, please?' Oops. It was really great to see him though, we got dinner and watched movies on Saturday night. We got haircuts and I redecorated my bathroom (i.e. bought a new shower curtain because the old one was mildewy). I also moved all the furniture in the living/dining rooms in my apartment this week. I was cleaning. There was food underneath the couch (ew!). I thought the couch didn't really belong in the kitchen-y area anyways. We might not have bugs anymore. Terminix is apparently coming again on Monday, so that's good news.
Played DDR last weekend at the Union with my friend Andy. We played four, four song games on Sunday. My legs hurt Tuesday and Wednesday! Lots of fun though.
I keep starting knitting projects, I think so I can add them to my 'Projects' list on ravelry. Best. Thing. Ever. I maintain.
