Secret talents with butter and not getting sick on rides

So I'm 22 now. So far I haven't found it to be any different from being 21, but we shall see. Birthdays are so uneventful now, no one offered to take me out drinking (not that I'd have gone anyways), I didn't buy any lottery tickets or get my ears pierced (when I was little, my Mom told me I could get my ears pierced when I turned 13... so I did). I just... didn't go to work? My family went out for dinner to a nice little Italian place on the east side of town called Nunzi's and my Gramma bought me Tupperware, which she insists (and I agree) will be very useful when I move to BG in August.

Almost a week after my birthday, Matthew and Zara and I met up with Joe in Pittsburgh for a fun day at Kennywood. I did not get sick on any rides, yay! I did not ride the crazy thing that spins and goes upside down and looks like wacky arrows gone mad. Zara, who I had forgotten gets motion sickness somewhat easily, was looking a little green for a bit, but turned out to be ok... which is good cause I would have felt just awful if she had actually been sick... After Kennywood, Matthew, Zara and I went to Lulu's for dinner. Which was cool cause I didn't get lost on the way there... mostly. And didn't get totally lost on the way back to Joe's after dinner... mostly. I found the way eventually! I'd post pictures, but I forgot to take any. :( Had a great time though.

So now I'm mostly biding my time until I move in to some as of yet undetermined place in Bowling Green (henceforth to be referred to as 'BG' or if I am talking about the college, 'BGSU'). I have some potential roommates who I need to remember to call this week and finalize things with hopefully. They have a dishwasher and washer and dryer and dog and cat. All things I like. I have to remember to call my student loans lender, as I currently owe them $118 which I am sure they would like an explanation as to why I have not paid them yet. I'd love to mail in my loan deferment papers but I can't until I can register for classes, which is unfortunately, also August. I have work a lot, tonight I even pretended to be a concessionist for a few hours, which was not nearly as cool as I'm sure it sounds. Mostly just buttery and greasy... Ok though, because I'm poor and I like money and they paid me. I'm going horseback-riding for old times' sake on Monday with Ginny Martin, the lady I went horseback-riding with a lot when I was in middle/high school. I saw her at the movies the other day with all her grandchildren, and decided that I really should give that a shot again. I really enjoy it, just last time I went was when I had to take Matthew to the hospital afterwards... (see about this time last summer...). I had 80 prints made from my Europe pictures. Will pick them up on Monday too I think. I've got a job out in BG, Cinemark owns a teeny little theater there. And now that I'm a trained box office person/usher/concessionist, I should be fairly useful assuming they need one or more of those things, which they apparently do since my managers emailed them about a month ago to make sure. Jobs are a good thing. I have three right now, with an offer of a fourth maybe... we shall see. I'm not sure where, between the summer before my freshman year and now, all of my money has gone. Seems like I had a lot more of it when I got out of high school somehow. I've been trying not to spend it, but you can't go to Europe on nothing! And I like souvenirs...
