passion.
it used to be i'd discover a new musical & listening to it would restore my love for theatre. it's been a while since that's happened so needless to say my love has faded. but in its place I am finding another love. one that's been there all along although unsung. literature. books. stories. While this last year has seen me turn away from my first passion, I think I've grown in this one. and for a few reasons.
First: is my love for language. apparently it's something i'm really good at. (i find myself diagramming sentences for fun sometimes.)
Second: I've read some really good books lately. Anyone who has yet to discover the beauty of Stephanie Myers needs to get their butt over to Borders right now & buy a copy of TWILIGHT right now. along with the is JK's amazing power to grab every one of my emotions in the last Harry Potter. I was so invested in those characters because they were so well developed and completely human(i won't go into my feelings on what happened cuz i know jess is reading it right now) Add that to a new Francescia Lia Block book right now & I am happy with summer reading!
Third: One amazing Author, Libba Bray, (go read her books too!) has a LiveJournal & he latest entry just captured me in a way that i can't describe. but you should read it. go to my friends page. or libba-bray.livejournal.com to read her entry "Censorship is not Patriotic"
