Cartoon KAT-TUN II YOU Tour 2007

Dec 05, 2007 19:56

At last! I got my YesAsia order with Best of KAT-TUN (I finally have the original!!!), Arashi’s Time (without the extra CD with the solos L), Keep the Faith RE *fire* and CARTOON KAT-TUN II YOU 2007 TOUR!!!

So, let’s move on to my impressions about the concert. It didn’t impress me as much as Real Face and there was less dancing, but I think there were some new songs, or am I mistaken?

I have to say as well that Yuichi has never amused me that much with his beat-boxing and Koki was great in Make you wet. No, I don’t fall for tricks like him tearing his T-shirt :D But I think he stole the show with his dancing!~ After 8 months in the fandom I finally want to flail for Koki! *laughs* Jin had definitely low energy levels but I am really grateful he was there. For some reason I thought that I would like him to perform Sho’s Unti unti. *totally random idea* His singing became more like screaming some times but I have the feeling from the other concerts that Jin likes to scream. Not that he didn’t show his singing abilities; of course he didn’t lose them. But especially in Butterfly I think he didn’t feel like singing. It’s ok Jin! You can scream to your heart’s content. As long as you smile and we know that everything is going to be all right. And it is to your credit that you don’t use lip-synch.

And what can I say about the “fashion show”? Their clothes were horrible! But I am already used to this appearance. They are forgiven because they normally have a sense of measure. I absolutely loved Kazuya’s jean and shirts. After paying attention, it’s clear that there was no editing and he really changed his shirt 4 times during Someday for somebody. This was why he only had one button buttoned! I am glad he did because if he had it completely unbuttoned I wouldn’t pay attention to the song anymore and it would be a pity because he sang as beautifully as ever. Well, that doesn’t change the fact that the way the shirt moved while Kazuya moved was simply divine.

And I wonder, is it just Jin and Tat-chan who love wearing those long frilled and furbelowed skirts? I noticed them at Real Face concert as well and I can’t remember another one wearing something like that. - Only something like robes. - Oh my Murphy I start liking them with those things! Is it a dangerous condition?

As a conclusion, I think that KAT-TUN are not the same as a group when Jin can’t give all his soul in a performance… And I remember Yuichi telling (in J-web?) that his grandmother had died around that time, so he wasn’t in the best situation as well. He is also absolutely essential. But the rest of them seemed all right and especially Tat-chan was all smiles! Y (And Junno but no surprises there!)

I hope that 2008 will be a happy year for KAT-TUN and everyone, and that they release a new album (with at least one solo by Jin - but he got a big singing part in the new single so I am happy! And of course I am still impatient for Tat-chan's new ballad!) and they organize an even better concert!
