This summer I started watching only 2 drama series: Orthros no Inu and Karei Naru Spy.
Orthros no Inu is getting subbed regularly, so I’ve watched up to episode 4 until now. I like it. I don’t care if some scenes are a copy of Silence of the lambs. And I don’t think either that it’s about the good and bad everyone can do. I think it’s more like the contrary to out intentions the results of our actions can be, if we want to give a more mundane and psychological meaning to the series. Or else we can just enjoy the story, which I find very attractive. I enjoy very much the way Ryuzaki uses Aoi. I like Ryuzaki’s subtleness and Aoi’s naturalness. Both Takizawa and Nishikido have fitted in their roles I find.
Karei Nary Spy is hardly getting any subs. Only one episode that far… *patience* It’s a great series. It’s funny and serious in the same time. But we should never get carried away by the action and take it seriously. It’s not really a parody, but rather a comical action series. Nagase is great in every series he has appeared, and this is no exception. Plus, I like series with independent episodes. Can’t wait for the next ones.
Ah, and now realize how fast the summer has almost reached its end. Onwards to our jobs, the fall series and new plans for next summer! ^.^
