Day 4... so far, so good
Discovered that this costume might end up mildly easier than I thought. So far, the mock-up has come along nicely. Next step is to try it on, adjust what needs adjusting, and then mark it so I can cut it apart into the various pieces I'll need to piece this monster back together! I figure it's probably just easier this way. I do feel bad, though, cos I like my sparkly green fabric. Maybe I'll sew it all back together after I'm done and just have a pair of sparkly green leggings for bumming around in. Already have the sparkly shorts for bed, so why not! :D
I use Coscom when cons come up to see what photoshoots are when. On occasion, I use the Costume Construction section to flip through if I'm stuck on something. On occasion, I'll post things to dA. For actual advice on things without the sugar-coated bullshit, it's Cosfu. Also, Plurk and on the rare occasion, LJ.
