The somewhat recent moral roundabout which one of my old friends has encountered came as a complete surprise to me yesterday when I inquired about her. I haven't really talked to her at all over the past school year aside from a hello or two, and apparently I missed a lot. o__o
Not a lot as in, oh she achieved this and that, or traveled to such and such a place.. which would be what I normally would have assumed...
A lot. As in, transformation from devoted conservative christian goody-goody to a pot smoking sex fiend?
I'm aware that it shouldn't be unusual for someone to decide they don't like how they're living, or for someone who grew up in a conservative, strict home to decide to rebel...
But this is her, and I'm so much more shocked to think that she is the same girl who, in my junior year of high school- (merely the the year before the change)- told me that my tarot cards were, quote, 'the work of Satan'.
The same girl who invited all of her friends to see 'passion of the christ', because her church bought out the theater.
It shocks me even more to know that the guy she was supposedly screwing, had, and still does have, a girlfriend.
He is the guy who I met in Humanities, joked around with in Coach Franks's class, and would come visit my IB art class.
Erin, I'm sorry. D: I think Akil is cheating on you with his girlfriend, and the unnamed girl who has undergone said moral roundabout.
