Except, like, Tolman was adopted by my son Elrohir months and months ago. He lives in Rivendell right now.

Yup, I know that, Tolman just figured that Elrohir didn't want him anymore so he said I could adopt him. So I did.

When did he say that? He's been living happily with us in Rivendell for months. You can't just march in and say "I've adopted you" That's kidnapping.
