Maybe just maybe had I been competent for the better part of 2 years, I wouldn't have pushed you away for as long as I did, but that's what happened, and that's never going to change. All I'm saying is even though I struck out and you made your mind, I still can't help but to feel as if you have some things you would like to say, and I still cant help but to feel like I care about you, a hell of a lot more than my ego will allow me to. Who knows? maybe we'll wait another three months to progress two more inches and then three more just to go back to the self induced awkward silences and weird looks from across the room. But honestly though, if it's getting you through your nights.. than its golden, stick with that.
