So yesterday (Monday the 5th) we finally had our first snowfall of the season. It was quite lovely. Rhett didn't quite know what to make of it. Most of it melted today but according to Graeme, we should be getting more snow next week. I'm excited but I'm sure once the roads get bad I'll be done with it.

Rhett LOVES the show Super Why. It is one of the few shows he'll actually sit and watch for more then a couple minutes. Normally, this would make me not want to let him watch it... but since it is all about letters and words and reading, I figure if he has to be fascinated by a TV show, this is a good one.
He also loves Mickey Mouse, Pooh and Friends, Handy Manny, Big Big World, and Charlie and Lola. He also likes Sesame Street a lot, but mostly the Cookie Monster, Elmo, and Big Bird parts. Of course, he doesn't really watch watch them. He plays while they're on and occasionally will stop and watch them for a minute or two during a song or interesting part.

As you can tell from the picture he likes to play hard. The picture doesn't really show the true scope of the devastation this one small baby boy can create. Also dig our coffee table and it's pipe insulation baby-proofing. We finished the glass part in time to save him from banging his head hard against the edge of the glass but he managed to fall onto the metal piece that runs underneath before we could cover it . Unfortunately, this caused his two top teeth, which were just about ready to break through the surface, to move back up a little. :\

So so far he only has one tooth broken through. Bottom left. That happened on Nov 1st. He's been cutting all four front ones for the past three weeks and has been soooooo grumpy. Poor baby, hopefully they'll all break through soon and his gums will give him a break for a bit. You can kind of see the top two through the gums in the picture (he hates showing me inside his mouth!).

We're doing okay here. We did finally get a car (I'll write about it later as it is almost bedtime) and that is great; I don't feel so cooped up/imprisoned anymore. Plus, it is just great to be able to drive. I love driving and was missing it quite a bit. We'll that is all for now.
