Iron Man The Rapture Last Issue
I had read the fourth and final issue of the mini-series of Iron Man The Rapture and it was awesome.
The following have MAJOR SPOILERS for the 4th issue. Do not read this if you haven't read the last issue. Unless you like being spoiled.
The last issue had everything. It had heart, it had action, and it kinda tied up most of the loose ends. Pepper really showed how badass she was when she convinced Mike to help her through 'Stark World' and rescue Tony. She was so persistent in this comic even with the odds stacked against her. She really shined through. My favorite moment was after the giant vulture killed Mike, Pepper grabbed it by the leg and just thrashed the hell out of it.
Rhodey showed his own badass moments too while he was fighting in the experimental version of the War Machine armor and fight Stark 2.0. Despite the fact that he didn't know what was going on in Starkworld, he showed great faith in Tony and Pepper that they will somehow pull through which made him keep on going on.
And finally, there's Tony. It was... sad when he gave Pepper the key to killing Stark 2.0 and saving humanity because Stark 2.0 is dependent on him. So, he sacrificed himself to save his friends and the world from something that he create. It was tragic since his main motivation behind the cyber enchancements was so that he could live forever but he had to die.
It was a final type of death since this is a mini-series set in a completely different universe from the Mainstream Marvel and movieverse.
I highly recommend this comic.
