A brief update.

For one, my LJ client tells me that at this very moment (my favorite time, 12:34), I should send happy thoughts to faheud on the occasion of his natal day. While many people do lie to LJ about that date, I believe that happy thoughts are not without their merit for him at this time, and gladly do I send some to him.

For two, I have finally emerged semi-victorious over some code, with the able assistance of panivazka and baronj, and we have released into the wild Internets the vision that is the Wharrow website (aka The Outlands Roll of Arms). It lacks but a couple features, one of which is only of concern to Wharrow with his backpage pass. I even was triumphant in the late addition of the much-requested search feature.

Please do go and visit it and tell me that it's beautiful (for which panivazka is wholly responsible) and a work of programming and database art (for which baronj and I are jointly responsible, him for the working parts, and I for the buggy parts). Do also feel free to let me know of any flaws, bugs, and so on which you might encounter.

This, of course, has sparked interest in updates to the Wimble website, and tonight I made a somewhat valiant effort to implement the much-request search feature there as well. Some work yet remains on that, despite the ability to reuse some of the code from the Wharrow site.

Then, of course, our eyes shall fall upon the morass which is the Rampart website, and we shall flail upon it until we emerge triumphant (eventually) over the bizzare idiosyncracies which therein arise.

Lo, let it be so.

In the meantime, I shall sleep.
