Fruity icons~ & on being a rockstar
Hello hello!
I feel like I've been neglecting LJ for some reason... and then I looked at my previous entries, and it seems my posts haven't been terribly infrequent. Perhaps my sense of time is merely off? It seems so, hmm.
Well, I made some more icons~! Now I FINALLY have enough to throw them on tetsudaily , which incidentally has been spoiling me with many wonderful images... I couldn't resist making icons! I still have a few that I've been meaning to make, but I'm waiting for creative inspiration to strike! Yeah... let's say that. xD
Here's some Tetsu-icon-ful goodness!
The last one just happens to be my favorite, I'm very happy with how that one turned out. :3

In other news, I'm learning to play guitar! Of the acoustic sort (technically 'classical', since mine has nylon strings) but of course, I'm totally rocking out. :D So far I know... *counts on fingers* ...uhh, five-ish songs! Huzzah! Well, by five-ish, I mean I know a few parts of five different songs. I know three complete songs! Sort of. I'll just stop talking. xD
I can play all of "McPherson's Lament" (a totally hardcore rock song... umm, jk. It's a traditional fiddle tune but it's really sad. :'( I told one of my friends, who is also a fiddler, that I had learned it, and they pointed out that it is a rather difficult song to headbang to...ah, no~!) and also "Better" (my fave Regina Spektor tune... the song is made up of three chords. WIN.) and then a lot of "Blurry Eyes". (L'Arc-en-Ciel; everything except the guitar solo. AHHH KEN. WHY MUST YOU BE SO AMAZING.) Beyond that, I've almost figured out the tune of "Ashokan Farewell" (Jay Ungar... also depressing. But pretty! And yay Ken Burns for using it!) and, um... forgetting here... xD; Ah! Bits of "Good Riddance" and "American Idiot" (Green Day~ :D) and "Good Luck My Way". (L'Arc again)
I practice a lot, so hopefully I'll totally be a classical rockstar soon. :3 Not really...
I seriously practice it at least twice a day, since I started last week. I practice guitar more than I practice viola now... :P (Well, I guess that makes sense, since I am a LOT better at viola than guitar! :D)
I hear Aerosmith playing in the other room... "Dream On", specifically. I am VERY tempted right now to go and look up the chords. This is bad. xD; I NEED AN INTERVENTION. Not really xD;
