Getting played
A quick one before bed.

So got back to work on the vast amount of photo editing. Almost finished with three albums, have about ten more to finish. I wish an internet fairy would come gift me with a paid Flickr account!!! ;0 Have finished a few great books as my head clears up finally, ready to make the long list from the past 6 months of reading.
Also this morning I discovered something new about N's DVD player that I wasn't aware of.
My friend simonsatori(seen above) was so sweet and sent me, along with several other wonderful gifts, this DVD copy of one of my favourite movies, Amélie, which laurieannhaus had just reminded me of a day ago. Simon said he was sending it as a gift for me but mostly to see if my DVD player would play movies from other regions other than U.S, so he would know for the future when he sent other movies, without knowing how much I loved it and that I had wanted a copy, so it was just a lovely thing when he told me about it.
N and I picked this player out a year ago when the old one died but didn't really know what the capabilities were (I wouldn't know where his manual was, lol). Unfortunately, this morning I finally discovered that this copy of the film won't work with this specific player, so my DVD player is limited to US and I think Australian region DVDs. Oh well. It's a great DVD player none the less and definitely gets enough use. Regional DVD classifications are sort of rubbish in a high-tech society.
