some major things to have happened this week-
i sent away for enrollment info for a school i am interested in. i would have to get my AA before i could go there, but i can't see that's such a big deal. it is acupuncture and chinese medicine. luckily, since i am super-chinese, i am sure they will like me. i need them to help me figure out what classes will get me the best set for all this mess...
i am excited about this possibility, but i can see that certain other members of the household might not be. i wonder if i would have enough time to be a valid wifey/homemaker (of sorts). what's a girl to do? this must be how people end up going back to school when they are in their 50's- it seems that might be the next time things are calm. who knows, huh? i guess a girl has to try.
in the meantime, things seem to be going well with our potential new-pup. i keep thinking about how silly my life can be with TWO poms in it. momo is such a character, and every pom i have ever met has been... such happy little guys- terrible to think about any unhappy dogs. the new dog, should we get it, is going to be patricks dog. since dogs really have ONE person that they are super-bonded to (even though they may love EVERYONE), it seems wisest to hook patrick up with the new dog. it will be easier for momo, and speedy can take it. momo has always been the baby dog, of course. he still will be, at least to me. probably to patrick too, it's just mo's personality. he is the silly, sensitive one.
tonight was "nacho night" at the dearman household. completely ridiculous that nachos are so yummy... it was delightful, but it is not going to help me reach any weight loss goals! i have to be a bridesmaid the last day of may (so close! oy!) and have some gut-fat issues that are making me unhappy. of course, this gut-fat can be fixed with the proper undergarments as easily as skimping on the low-fat sour cream, so i guess i should not worry too awfully much about it.
scarlet mentioned german food, and it made me so jealous. our restaurant went out of business, and we never get to go to the other one...
night, all!
