must... get... rest... going on a last south carolina run for awhile. i do not know how james' moving is going to affect my trips. i will still want to see him, but it's about to become JUST HIM. i always loved seeing sam and ronnie, mel, tommy, hananah and brian... i love all my friends up there. james is top dog, but there is a lot more to it. my favorite greek food, the record store i used to work at. it's a whole big event when i visit. i was like a demi-celeb. now it's just james and the kitties. it's enough, but not the same. i am being quiet and playing nice on the whole subject, lest i end up eating my foot. i can already sense that he is going to push me into talking about shit this weekend, and i really DO not wanna.
in the meantime, i get to go up there again.
tomorrow, patrick is hunting zombies after work. apparently, some paintball place is doing a zombie survival thing.
holy hell, i hate zombies! i know they are not real, but they horrify me. can hardly stand to even think of them.
almost halloween! so excited! almost time to vote! also so excited! it's funny that everyone is all resigned to obama being president, like it's a done deal. i mean, if they are only counting my vote, he's in. although, in truth, mccain has given me EVER so much more to giggle about. obama doesn't really seem like a funny man. then again, it is not like mccain is being funny on purpose. the humour just circles around him from plumbers and from women with 1960's hooker lookin hair.
i can see myself becoming one of those old people who is waaaaaaaaaaaay into voting. i am gonna have a hat, a bumper sticker, and i am gonna tell anyone who will listen about what i think. it may be kinda cute, because liberal old people are adorable. unless they are vegan.
