And it came for Hob Gadling, the man who knew that it’s possible to live forever if you wish it enough.
He always thought that he would finally give it up when the last person on earth died. He would ask Lady Death to come and take him, so he wouldn’t have to feel more the loneliness.
The loneliness that had been accompanying him during several centuries.
