Ok, here I am on day 7 of sicky monster rage...and yay the congestion is gone...still kinda stuffy in the head and ears...cough is still there, not as persistent as before, but there.
BUT, gradually throughout today, my voice has gotten softer and softer...and my throat has gotten a bit more sore. I suspect it is because of all the coughing....but now, as oldcrow tells me, "Stop talking! You sound like Marlon Brando. It's annoying." Which I find kinda odd....but it seems I speak more clearly if I whisper rather than actually try to use my voice to talk. So, great, first I get this flu bug, then go through all the hot/cold/hot stuff....and now no voice? Fun! Boy, if my dad were here he'd probably be giving me all kinds of stuff cause my dad's an ENT(Ear, Nose and Throat doctor). Well, he'll be back from the Philippines at the end of the month, so, not too much longer to go. Though, I kinda hope they come back soon cause of that coup stuff and the mudslides.
Emily has gotten worse. Still way fussy, runny, runny nose. Coughing a lot too...waking herself up when she does so when she sleeps...not so good. Hopefully, the sicky monster will wretch its claws out of our chests soon...this is probably one of worst flus I've had.
oldcrow is coughing a ton, but at least he can take cough supressants. I can't cause I'm breastfeeding....so, I've been popping cough drops and drinking lots of water.
Jason is getting better. Only occassionally coughing, but he is eating better and even tried out a belgian waffle we made with our new belgian waffle maker with maple syrup. So, I was like "YAY! He ate something other than nuggets!" :) NOW, if he'd just do that with say, burgers or sandwiches or pizza, I'd be happy.
Well, off to bed....
